All students, young and old, start playing the piano by using proper fingering techniques and learning to sight-read music while training their ears to recognize intervals and rhythm.
The piano studio has a warm environment for young and older students and we believe it is more important for them to have a positive experience with music, rather than a strict atmosphere. All lessons are taught by a piano instructor with extensive experience in teaching children. He is also a piano instructor at Grossmont Adult Education and has a special teaching credential for older adults from the state of California.
